Special Event! From Survival Mode to Thriving: Help Your Child Build Resilience and Confidence for Academic Success This Year - September 22, 7:00pm
Please join the Haycock PTA for a special workshop for parents presented by SKY Schools. This interactive workshop, recently presented at Thomas Jefferson HS, will provide parents valuable tools to help their children and themselves manage stress and promote positive, success-oriented mindsets. Participants will learn strategies to improve a child’s social and emotional well-being, encourage a focus on schoolwork, and manage strong emotions, uncertainty, and stress.
This year Harvard and Yale Universities published studies on SKY Schools’ unique approach to stress management showing that the SKY School’s curriculum has a positive impact on reducing stress and depression, and improving mental health, social connection, mindfulness, and positive emotion.
