Although our primary means of raising money this year is our Armchair Fundraiser, many of you missed our Innisbrook gift-wrap sale, so here it is, online only!!! Box Tops Give Money To Haycock
One easy way to raise funds for classroom materials, field trips, faculty continuing education, and technology purchases is the collection of Box Tops for Education. Haycock receives .10 for every Box Top submitted and last year we earned $1,041.00 this way!
The Box Tops symbol can be found on a variety of products that families use every day. Manufacturers who participate in the Box Tops for Education program include: General Mills, Betty Crocker, Huggies, Pillsbury, Avery, Scott, Kleenex, Ziplock, Hefty and many more! To inspire students to remember to clip Box Tops, the PTA has established a Box Tops Collection Contest for the 2011-2012 school year. Haycock Spiritwear
Haycock students love to show their Cougar Pride, so give your favorite Haycock student(s) a pair of mesh Basketball Shorts and/or a super-cool Zippered Sweat Jacket. Parents, you too can show your Cougar Pride with a Haycock Car Magnet.
Just print off and complete the Merchandise Order Form on this webpage and send it to school via backpack mail. The envelope should read “Haycock Merchandise Order” and checks should be made payable to Haycock PTA. Orders will be returned to your child’s classroom or if the order is a gift, other arrangements for order pick-up will be made. Please indicate “GIFT” on the order form. Register Your Grocery Cards Today!
Giant, Safeway, and Harris Teeter support education by contributing a percent of sales tied to registered grocery affinity cards back to local schools. CARDS MUST BE RE-REGISTERED EVERY SCHOOL YEAR TO RECEIVE CREDIT FOR YOUR PURCHASES. Parents, grandparents, friends and neighbors can register too!

Armchair Fundraiser
Welcome back to school Haycock Parents! Our PTA has been busy over the summer planning fabulous programs and activities for the 2011-12 school year. We need your help in funding these programs. The PTA Armchair Fundraiser will continue to be our primary fundraiser for the year, running now through December 31st. Our goal is for the Armchair to raise $60,000—a goal we can easily meet if each Haycock family donates $120. If you are able to give more, Thank You! – there are many programs and new technologies we’d love to have at Haycock that Fairfax County does not provide for. The PTA will gratefully accept any donations of any amount, give what you can. What will the PTA do with all that money? A complete budget is available on our website, but here is a quick summary:
- Give Haycock at least $40,000 in School Support Funds.
- Give $8,500 to our Teachers for Classroom Supplies.
- Fund $16,500 in School-Related Activities and Events (such as Movie Night, Art Appreciation, Cougar Woods, Cultural Arts Presentations, Guest Author Visits and Field Trip Buses, just to name a few).
Donations can be made through Paypal on the PayPal button on the left hand side of this screen or by printing out this form Armchair Fundraiser Form and writing a check payable to Haycock PTA and mailing it to Haycock PTA, Attn: Armchair Fundraiser, 6616 Haycock Rd., Falls Church, VA 22043 or returning it in your child’s backpack in an envelope addressed to “Armchair Fundraiser” or dropping it by the Front Office.
